Our nominated charity for the 2026 Galway Masters Tournament is Claddagh Watch Patrol. They are a voluntary, registered charity (Charity Registration Number: CRA 20204981 / CHY 22513) founded in 2019 to prevent water-based accidents and suicides by conducting regular evening and night-time safety patrols along the river and canals of Galway City.

Their trained volunteers prevent both accidental drownings and critical self-harm crises through proactive intervention, active listening, and seamless coordination with emergency services. Supporting them strengthens community safety nets and spares families from preventable tragedies.
